Total Production

The talent of the writers, cast, and crew have got me obsessed with this television series. They've taken the books to a whole new universe- and I love stargazing!

(This is a collection of my recaps which are written specifically for iheartvampirediaries, but can also be found on other television sites as well.)

The Eve of the Return

Q: Am I a new follower to the TV series?
A: No!

I recall seeing previews to the series prior to its pilot episode and thought "Oh, that looks good; I'll check it out." Well, I forgot. Then, a friend and I were sitting around having dinner and decided to see what was on...

Channel surfing, I came came across episode 3:"Friday Night Bites" about 50s before Damon attacks Caroline (bedroom scene). Let me tell you, I haven't stopped obsessing about this show since!Kevin Williamson and Julie Plec have a talent with phrasing that one just gets lost in the dialogue. I have literally laughed, gasped, and nuh-uhed within 3 minutes of a particular scene! Then, directors such as Marcos Seiga ([dir. my fave episode "History Repeating"]and his assistants), film editors, and production crew create such quality backdrops that the scenes are flawless. All of this, of course, allows the cast to execute their best work in creating their characters.

All of them attribute to this addiction!!

All of this brings me here. I feel that instead of 'tweeting' my life away about this show and annoying my friends(...), I will just share my thoughts here in this web log. I do not intend to use this as a source for all things TVD, but a filtering and process space for my I LOVE THIS SHOW moments. Which I can assure you happen a lot. In other words, I'm not going to be posting every time Ms. Dobrev takes a sip of coffee!!

So, as I patiently await this hiatus to end- on the eve of the return- I am going to begin developing this diary of obsession.

Cruel and Unusual Punishment

The torture that the hiatus is prolonging is soon to come to an end.

January 21-soon.

With the "Vicki Chapter" over, what else can we expect to ensue? I think the question is the point. We shouldn't expect anything. Julie Plec and Kevin Williamson have stated that they have no fear killing off a main character. Simply the stroke of a Sharpie pen over someone's name and- that's it. This isn't Days of Our Lives where the lives certainly outlast the days!! They're gone!

(So folks, stop inquiring if Vicki is going to return, because she's not.)
